Provincial party secretary to visit Taiwan Hubei's provincial party secretary Luo Qingquan will lead a delegation to Taiwan to promote business, technological and cultural cooperation on Monday at Taiwan's invitation. This marks the first visit by a provincial party chief to Taiwan this year, chinanews.com.cn reported Monday. The delegation will consist of more than 30 teams, with a total of 1,000 people, the website quoted Hubei officials in charge of Taiwan affairs as saying. The 2010 Hubei-Taiwan economic and cultural forum and Taiwan-Hubei week will be held during April 19 and April 26 to further deepen economic cooperation between the two sides. Hubei will hold about 40 programs featuring its cooperation with Taiwan in culture, technology and agriculture, said the website.
